SPARC installation streak

We at DELMIC are extremely proud of the level of interest that researchers have shown in our SPARC cathodoluminescence detection system recently.

During the coming weeks we will be experiencing our biggest installation streak yet, with systems to be installed all over the world, including at Oslo, Lund, Houston, King’s College, and Zurich. We will also be installing our SECOM correlative microscopy system in Bremen. Our colleagues are currently working hard to make sure that all the installations run smoothly and are able to meet the needs of each individual research group.

The SPARC system will be used for a wide variety of applications. Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA) in Zurich will be employing it for materials science; the University of Oslo and FEI Demo Lab in Houston will be using the system for geology research, with the latter focusing on petroleum; and King’s College London will benefit from the SPARC for its nanophotonics research.

We anticipate that our innovative cathodoluminescence system, built as a retro-fit for any scanning electron microscope will serve to enhance the work being conducted at these top institutions.
