Delmic receives funding from European Commission for new project

flag_yellow_low

We are proud to announce that Delmic has obtained funding in the form of a Phase 2  grant of the SME Instrument, a funding instrument of the European Commission.

The company has been selected among other highly innovative SMEs and will receive considerable funding.

The funding will allow Delmic to develop an automated sample preparation solution for integrated correlative cryo microscopy. Based on the current iCLEM system SECOM, a new system will be developed, which will combine the power of correlative cryo light and electron imaging and the ease of sample preparation and handling. The new system will be key to simplifying the cryo workflow and reducing sample preparation time, and therefore opens up new horizons in structural biology research.

The EIC Accelerator (SME Instrument) is part of Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, and part of the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot that supports top class innovators, entrepreneurs and small companies with funding opportunities and acceleration services.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 836841.
