Delmic receives funding from European Innovation Council

We are excited to announce that Delmic was selected by European Commission’s European Innovation Council to receive funding for breakthrough innovations.

Together with other 64 innovative start-ups and SMEs Delmic will receive a combination of grant financing and equity investment to develop and scale up our ground-breaking innovations.

Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, said: “The EIC Accelerator is a unique European funding instrument of the European Innovation Council. It supports the development of top-class innovations through crowding-in private investors and offers a portfolio of services to support their scaling-up. With the European Innovation Council we aim to bring Europe to the forefront of innovation and new technologies, by investing in new solutions for the health, environmental and societal challenges we are facing.”

The funding will help Delmic to continue developing innovative solutions in the field of light and electron microscopy.

Sander den Hoedt, CEO of Delmic, said: "We are proud to be recognized as a top innovator by the EIC accelerator. This new investment will allow us to develop new technologies that will unleash the power of electron microscopy for a wider audience. It will also allow us to scale the business, enhancing our global reach and accelerating our time to market. We look forward to working with European Investment Bank to bring Delmic to the next level."
