As 2019 is ending, we would like to highlight a few significant points of this year and share our plans and goals for 2020!
In 2019 University of Innsbruck (Austria), University of New South Wales (Australia), Oak Ridge Research National Lab (USA), Universidad Nacional de Río Negro (Argentina) among others became our customers. We have also completed a few big installations, including a time-resolved system in China: read about those in our recent news post. We have also launched a new cathodoluminescence detection system JOLT, first installations of which will take place early 2020.
Together with the number of customers, the company has been growing as well! This year we had 14 new colleagues joining various teams including software, application, marketing and development. Delmic now has employees from 11 nationalities.
Early in 2020 a few application specialists will start working on the new projects, that we will be announcing very soon (stay updated with our newsletter). One of these projects is aimed to simplify the complex workflows involved in cryo electron tomography; another project will help to increase imaging speed without sacrificing image quality with an automated multibeam scanning electron microscope.
Apart from the new projects, in 2020 we are also going to release the new Delmic website, which will be even more user-friendly and educational. Another exciting announcement is the new webinar series “Cathodoluminescence fundamentals”, for which you can register here. Finally, we are going to be present at European Microscopy Congress next year, and we hope that we will see you there!
We wish you happy holidays, and a great start of 2020!
